In 2005 CRP achieved its milestone fifth year of growth as a unique nonprofit partnership and an acknowledged source of high-quality community data, research, and evaluation services. On October 11, 2005, CRP held a community celebration at the Arena Grand Theatre in Columbus that included the unveiling of DataSource: The Franklin County, Ohio, Community Data System. DataSource provides web-based access to recent data from the Census and local public institutions. Speaking at the celebration were representatives of CRP partner organizations and supporters: Franklin County Commissioner Paula Brooks; Herb Asher, President of CRP's Board of Trustees; Columbus City Councilmember Charleta B. Tavares; Douglas F. Kridler, President and CEO, The Columbus Foundation; and Janet E. Jackson, President and CEO, United Way of Central Ohio. CRP also issued a report to the community that described its services and programs and highlighted accomplishments of the past 5 years.
